WEB Du Bois and Ida Hunt organize the first Pan-African Congress in Paris. The Congress brings delegates from the entire African diaspora, including African descendants from the entire world, in place to discuss common issues and work toward common goals. It will reconvene four times during the period, continuing periodically into 2014.
