The Wolfe family hires Ralph W. Tyler as the Society Editor for the Columbus Evening Dispatch. This is in spite of increasing application of Jim Crow laws and Klan activity in the wake of the end of WWI. Tyler continues to publish a weekly column in the Ohio State Journal.
